Despite all the colours depicted on screens there are only three coloured pixels.
It is true that screens are made up of only three colored pixels (red, green, and blue). However, these three colors can be combined in various proportions to produce millions of different colors.
There is no exact answer to the question of how many colours exist as there is no definitive list of named and recognised colors. However, the Pantone Colour Institute estimates that there are over 1,000 Pantone Matching System (PMS) colours, and the HTML colour names list has around 140 named colours.
