Thank you for reading my writings. If you’d like to, you can buy me a coffee for just £1 and I will think of you while writing my next post! Just hit the link below…. (thanks in advance)
A delightful poem, Andrew. I do love your stories of the Sage. It has been a while since I’ve seen you publish them, and I have missed them. I’m so glad you’re writing them again. I look forward to reading the next one when you have time to write a new tale. I know life is busy, and we don’t always have time to write. If I had my way, I would spend all day writing, but I, too, am always busy and rarely have enough time to write as regularly as I’d like. Such is life …
Thank you Ellie. I’ve recently become a grandad for the first time so life has gotten a little more busy. I appreciate your encouragement and kind words. I read your piece on guilt recently … it was very good and resonated. Guilt is a gift given to us by ourselves or others … it is up to us whether we accept the gift, no matter how attractive the wrapping.
Huge congratulations on becoming a grandad, Andrew. How lovely to hear that. How old is the baby now? Thank you for reading and understanding my guilt post. That’s an excellent way of thinking about guilt – I’ve not heard that phrase before. It’s very true.
It’s twins . Isla and Isaac born 20th February! Thank you! I may have said before but I was a therapist for 10 years and a number of my clients came with huge amounts of self imposed guilt. Your post explained the correct self dialogue very well. It would have been a useful tool in therapy sessions
Twins!! Even bigger congratulations in that case, Andrew. How lovely for you and your family. I expect you’ll all be very busy with two new little ones to care for. What lovely names, too. I can imagine you as a therapist. I’m glad you thought my guilt post would have been helpful. I’m humbled.
Absolutely Beautiful!!!!♥️ Ironically I’m currently painting an owl in flight.
Very much like a storytellers poem.
